DEVELOPING TEAMWORK & RESILIENCE.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING DESIGN
THE CHALLENGE
-
Redesign the Residential Camp based on a varying range of learning objectives that will support the overall understanding for students in concepts of resilience and teamwork.

-
Increase the students' understanding of their personal needs in a team setting while being aware of needs of their team members through intentional design of the communal experience.

-
A need to bring focus to becoming more aware of the importance of environment conservation and making more sustainable choices.

-
Designing with students in mind and creating a milestone experience for them that encouraged them to contribute to the experience by being active learners as well as sharing personal experiences as role models to their juniors. This allows the academic staff and educators to build on the character building and sustainably weave the experiential learning back into the classroom for positive relationships amongst the students.
